Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • The following is the corrected version of this topic:
    WebSphere Application Server maintenance releases
You can apply maintenance releases (also known as fix pack)
for the WebSphere Application Server integrated with the
development workbench, IBM Rational Software Development
    Platform.
The fix packs for the WebSphere Application Server are
located under the Download section at the following Web
    site:
    http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/was/support/.
Follow the installation instructions by reviewing the Readme
of the WebSphere Application Server fix pack.
When you are prompt for the directory path to apply the fix
pack, you need to specify a directory where the fix pack is
going to install on top of the IBM WebSphere Application
Server integrated in the IBM Rational Software Development
    Platform by typing:
    x:\runtimes\server_name
where x is the directory path where the IBM Rational
Software Development Platform is installed and server_name
is the server you are using:
-express_v51 for WebSphere Application Server - Express
    v5.11
-base_v51 for WebSphere Application Server v5.11
-base_v6 for WebSphere Application Server v6.0.x1
-base_v61 for WebSphere Application Server v6.1
An example directory path to install the fix pack on top of
the IBM WebSphere Application Server integrated in the IBM
    Rational Software Development Platform is:
    C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP70\runtimes\base_v61
Delivered in Rational Application Developer V7004.
