Error description

  • In IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA) when RequisitePro View
    is executed in Requirement Explorer the user created Date and Ti
    me attrinbutes are displayed in serial date format.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start RequisitePro
    2. Create a new project
    3. Create a requirement type called RESP
    4. Create an attribute named DATE1
    5. Set type as Date
    6. Set default value to 09/01/2006
    7. Create an attribute named TIME1
    8. Set type as Time
    9. Set default value to 12:00 PM
    10. Create a new view
    11. Set the query to DATE1 and TIME1
    12. Save the view
    13. Start RSA
    14. Switch to the Requirement Perspective
    15. Open the created RequisitePro project in the Requirement Exp
    lorer
    16. Select the view
    17 . Execute the view
    Notice:
    DATE1 and TIME1 is in a serial date format
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Fixed in releases RSx 7.0.0.8, RSx 7.0.5.3 and 7.5.x
    
    A couple of methods where added to convert to standard date or
    time instead of displaying serial date or time.
