PK15207: ANT Build does not use defined classpath

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Using External Tools ? ANT Build in RSA 6.0.1 will not use the
  additional classpath settings defined in the build         confi
  guration. The CLASSPATH as defined in the RSA environment when R
  SA starts appears to be provided in the environment in which ANT
   is executed instead.
  
  The configuration classpath was provided in the ANT environment
  as expected on RSA version 6.0.0.1. The configuration classpath
  is correctly generated and provided to other External Tools  (us
  ing Program configuration instead of ANT Build       configurati
  on).
  
  This problem can cause the ANT Build to fail if the CLASSPATH  f
  or the build differs from the system CLASSPATH used when startin
  g RSA.
  
  Expected behavior is that the classpath passed to ANT using an A
  NT Build configuration is as defined in the configuration iinste
  ad of ignored.
  

Local fix

• Since the classpath is generated correctly and provided to other
  External Tools, ANT can be configured as an External Tool > New
  Program configuration instead of an ANT Build and the build will
  execute using the expected classpath.
  

Problem summary

• ANT Build does not use defined classpath.
  

Problem conclusion

• This has been reported as fixed in RAD/RSx 7.5 with IES 3.4.
