Error description

  • The Add Case button from the Toolbar widget is not displayed on
    the initial solution page after the user logs into Case Client.
    Accessing other solution pages after loading the initial page
    displays the Add Case button without any issues.

Local fix

  • Select a role. The page refreshes and the Add Case button is
    displayed.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue occurs when both of the following conditions occur:
    -The "Display a separate button for each case type" is selected
    for the Add Case button on the Solution page by using Case
    Builder during the configuration process.
    -Add Case is the only button configured on the Toolbar widget
    for that page. No other buttons are added to the Toolbar widget.
    When you have two or more buttons the issue doesn't occur.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that ensures the Add Case button is displayed when the
    "Display a separate button for each case type" option is
    selected on the Toolbar widget will be available in a future
    release of IBM Business Automation Workflow.
