PJ44773: UNEXPECTED FNRPA0026E MIGHT BE LOGGED IN SYSTEMOUT.LOG WHEN IMPORTING A SOLUTION AND DEPLOYING IT ON A NEW ENVIRONMENT

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A FNRPA0026E error will be in SystemOut.log when a solution is
    deployed for the first time with IBM Case Manager configuration
    tool in a production profile, although the operations were
    successful.  If the solution is deployed again on the same
    environment, no error will be recorded.
    
    Here is a sample of the error message in the SystemOut.log file:

    Here are the repro steps:
    1. Create a new solution on the development environment and
    export it.
    2. Import the solution and deploy it on the production
    environment using the following configmgr_cl command.
    
       (Import)
       configmgr_cl importSolution -profile <ProfileName>
    -solutionPackage <SolZipFileName>
    
       (Deploy)
       configmgr_cl execute -profile <ProfileName> -task
    <taskXMLFileName>
    

Local fix

  • The FNRPA0026E message may be ignored.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in 5.2.1.7-ICM-FP007 or later.  With the fix, a FNRPA0026E
    error will no longer be logged in the application server
    SystemOut.log when a solution is deployed for the first time
    with IBM Case Manager configuration tool in a production
    profile.
