01.When selecting multiple elements, only the first element is
       processed for custom actions.
02.This enhancement provides a new user exit point in Developer
for z Systems, and a sample exit, that allows customers to
alter data set names used during communication with CA
Endevor SCM(R). This enhancement also allows the usage of
variable data set names during CA Endevor SCM batch actions.
More details are in the hold information and updated Host
       Configuration Guide.
03.When the CARMA server takes too long to complete its startup
sequence on very busy systems, the CARMA connection manager
is not waiting long enough, and generates an error to
indicate that the server takes too long to get started. This
causes intermittent failures, regardless of the
       connect.timeout setting.

Problem conclusion

  • 01.The IBM IDz Endevor integration has been changed to properly
handle multiple element selections for custom actions.
02.This enhancement provides a new user exit point in Developer
for z Systems, and a sample exit, that allows customers to
alter data set names used during communication with CA
Endevor SCM(R). This enhancement also allows the usage of
variable data set names during CA Endevor SCM batch actions.
03.The IBM IDz Endevor integration has been changed to set the
default value of the startup.no.timeout parameter to Yes.
This forces connection manager to wait until the starter
ends. The starter honors connect.timeout set by the
       customer.
