  This APAR provides IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator support
  to recognize Accelerator tables either in the old segmented
  table space or the new UTSs after migration.
  Current Accelerator tables are created in one segmented
  table space which is useful for storing more than one table,
  especially relatively small tables but also has limitations.
  When the Accelerator tables grow bigger, customer could
  experience frequent timeout issue for concurrent Accelerator
  database access with long running jobs. Segmented table space
  is already deprecated in Db2 V11, it remains supported in
  Db2 V11 but support might be removed in the future.
  Use of individual UTS table spaces could improve performance,
  and solve timeout issues as well.
  This APAR is the preconditioning APAR for PI96859 which will
  migrate Accelerator tables from a segmented table space
  to UTS table spaces. With this APAR, Accelerator database
  access will recognize the Accelerator tables either in the old
  segmented table space or the new UTS and tolerate both types
  of Accelerator database setups.

• This APAR provides IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator support
  to prepare for Accelerator tables migration from segmented
  table space to UTS table spaces.
