Error description
You have bundles that contain Java code for both Liberty and OSGi type JVMSERVER in CICS 5.4 regions. When you attempt to disable the bundle, you receive the error message: DFHSJ1102 An attempt to disable the OSGi bundle with symbolic name osginame, version 1.0.0 in JVM server OSGISRV has failed with reason code EXCEPTION_FROM_JVMSERVER. If you inquire on the bundle via CEMT, it shows a status of "BEING DISABLED". An internal trace (with component SJ set to ALL) shows these trace entries: SJ 0C01 SJTH ENTRY FUNCTION(DISABLE_OSGIBUNDLE) JVMSERVER(OSGISRV) BUNDLE_ID(nn) ... SJ 0202 SJIN EXIT - FUNCTION(INVOKE_PTHREAD) RESPONSE(EXCEPTION) REASON(NO_LINK_STACK) SJ 0C02 SJTH EXIT FUNCTION(DISABLE_OSGIBUNDLE) RESPONSE(EXCEPTION) REASON() ABEND_CODE() BUNDLE_STATUS() The NO_LINK_STACK condition is erroneously checked, and should not be for this environment. DFHSJIN INVOKE_PTHREAD is called to handle this request. DFHAPLJP does not check SJTH_ISLIBERTY_X existence bit before checking SJTH_ISLIBERTY which happened to be on, then NO_LINK_STACK is set in DFHAPLJP. Problem conclusion
DFHAPLJP has been changed to check SJTH_ISLIBERTY_X existence bit before checking SJTH_ISLIBERTY.
