APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In IBM Developer for z Systems (IDz) v14.0.0.6 installed with
Rational Team Concert (RTC) v6.0.1 with z Integration, editing a
 COBOL source with the COBOL editor, from the Build results view
 result in NullPointerException when hyperlink is enabled.

Steps to recreate:

1.  Use Open Remote File to edit the COBOL source
2.  Enable the hyperlink feature by holding down the Ctrl key
and hovering the cursor over a field or paragraph name.

  • The COBOL editor fails to hyperlink between data item references
 and data item declarations for source opened from the RTC Build
 Page.

 data item references and declarations for source opened from
the RTC Build Page.
