• SUMMARY:
  The $skip query option 'gets ignored' on an Edge collection (it
  actually breaks of the iteration of the components of a element
  but then continues with the next one, i.o.w. some edges might
  get omitted).
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  $top is adhered to as expected
  
  ACTUAL RESULTS:
  the iteration of the components of the element when hitting the
  $top limit gets hit is aborted BUT then continues with the next
  elements and iterates all the remaining in the collection after
  all.
