Problem summary

  • PL/I classification scanning incorrectly handles literals such
    that the content of the literal is actually interpreted as if
    it were not part of a literal string.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Corrected a problem with the classification scanner so that the
    proper state is set when the last character of a literal is
    also the last character of the line.
