  • a long wait when issuing a FIND xxx Previous command. File
Manager causes the TSO Userid to use large amounts of CPU and
the Userid must be cancelled.

*                      PREV command on Large sequential        *
*                      data sets.                              *

The performance issue can only be addressed by a significant
architectural change to the editor page out and in mechanism.

Problem conclusion

  • This is being closed as a permanent restriction that may be
addressed in a future release.
