APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Incomplete rendering of the Data elements tab of the File
    details page

Local fix

  • None Known

Problem summary

  • Under certain circumstances, using the Data elements tab of the
File details page for an Included source file type can result
in the File details page not rendering completely and a
NullPointerException occurring, as indicated in the WsaaWar log
    file.

Problem conclusion

  • The "Data elements" tab for a COBOL or PL/I included source
file is more tolerant of anomalies discovered in the metadata
so that the function can still be used even when the
DMH_DATA_ELMT_ALAS table has some invalid data due stale
Program analysis results. This is achieved by relying on the
most recently scanned Program identified as a user of the
    included source file of interest.
