Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM MQ for z/OS Version 9 * * Release 0 Modification 0, Release 1 * * Modification 0 and Release 2 Modification 0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Unexpected output is returned by * * MQCMD_INQUIRE_AUTH_INFO_NAMES PCF : * * - All entries in the MQIACF_QSG_DISPS * * parameter are incorrectly returned as * * MQQSGDISP_ALL (-1) * * * * - An additional MQCFIL parameter with * * parameter identifier 1622 is returned * **************************************************************** While building the MQIACF_QSG_DISPS parameter, CSQM1RMM does not correctly account for the AUTHINFO type, causing it to incorrectly set the disposition of each object to -1. The MQIACH_AUTH_INFO_TYPES (1622) parameter is missing from the product documentation.
Problem conclusion
CSQM1RMM is updated to correctly account for the type of each AUTHINFO object examined when setting the disposition of the object in the MQIACF_QSG_DISPS list. The MQ V9 Knowledge Centre is updated to document the MQIACH_AUTH_INFO_TYPES parameter: MQIACH_* (Command format Integer Channel Types) https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFKSJ_9.0.0/ com.ibm.mq.ref.dev.doc/q091610_.html is updated as follows: The blank row between MQIACH_CONNECTION_AFFINITY and MQIACH_RESET_REQUESTED is replaced with a row containing values: "MQIACH_AUTH_INFO_TYPES , 1622, X'00000656' Inquire Authentication Information Object Names (Response) https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSFKSJ_9.0.0/ com.ibm.mq.ref.adm.doc/q087300_.html is updated as follows: A new paragraph " Additionally, on z/OS® only, a parameter structure, AuthInfoTypes (with the same number of entries as the AuthInfoNames structure), is returned. Each entry in this structure indicates the type of the object with the corresponding entry in the AuthInfoNames structure. " is added. "AuthInfoTypes" is added to the list of 'Always Returned' parameters, for z/OS only "Response Data" is updated to include a description of AuthInfoTypes: " AuthInfoTypes (MQCFIL) List of authentication information object types (parameter identifier: MQIACH_AUTH_INFO_TYPES). Specifies the type of the object This parameter is returned on z/OS only. The value can be any of the following values: MQAIT_CRL_LDAP This defines this authentication information object as specifying an LDAP server containing Certificate Revocation Lists. MQAIT_OCSP This value defines this authentication information object as specifying certificate revocation checking using OCSP. MQAIT_IDPW_OS This value defines this authentication information object as specifying certificate revocation checking using user ID and password checking through the operating system. "
