Error description

• Validating an object, here a SAP query having SAP variables,
  prompts for the SAP variables, because required to do the
  validation.
  If this dialog is cancelled the object is invalidated.
  This is indicated by the broken icon and also under properties
  where the status is set to 'Invalid'.
  

Local fix

• If cancelled then use undo to set status back to 'Valid'.
  Or validate the object by entering correct variables for your
  SAP variables.
