  When a calling program and a called sub-program both use an
  EVALUATE statement whose selection objects or selection
  subjects are assigned a truth value, the compilation may abort
  with a terminating error message that indicates an internal
  compiler error. This was caused by incorrect communication
  between internal compiler components when certain data areas
  are shared between programs within the same compilation unit.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was updated to correct this incorrect
  communication and thus prevent the compiler abort and
  terminating error message.
