Error description

  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14

COBOL real time syntax checker (RTSC) will present
"Ambigous reference" errors in first editor window opened after
the same program is opened in a second window.

To Recreate this issue using the below PDS files
First.COPYLIB
Second.COPYLIB2
My.PGMSRC (2 members, TEST and TEST2)

Set properties of these files so that the copylib members have
cpy extensions, and the PGMSRC members have cbl extensions.

Create property group and point the syslib to:
First.COPYLIB Second.COPYLIB2
Associate this property group to PDS, My.PGMSRC

Open TEST by double clicking (bringing it up in COBOL editor).
The necessary copylibs are downloaded and there are no errors.
Open TEST2  by double clicking
Click on TEST in editor view and it has the
"Ambigous reference" error
