  * USERS AFFECTED: All QMF for TSO/CICS V12.1 users of the      *
  *                 DSQDC_EC_DEC global variable.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Global variable DSQDC_EC_DEC allows     *
  *                      report formatting default overrides     *
  *                      without a customized saved form. This   *
  *                      global variable, used for default       *
  *                      formatting specifications for decimal   *
  *                      data types has been enhanced. The       *
  *                      global will now allow values of LZ*,    *
  *                      D*, DC*, DZ*, DZC*, I*, IZ*, J*, JZ*,   *
  *                      K*, KZ*, P*, and PZ* in addition to the *
  *                      existing support for L*.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The extension of the '*' (asterisk) support to the remaining
  edit codes allows wider formatting options without having to
  override data base length settings. When the asterisk is
  detected, QMF will format the decimal data based on the length
  of the data type.  Additionally, the 'About QMF' panel, DXYEAAAA
  accessed from option 17 has been updated to show the new
  maintenance level (PI87951).
