USERS AFFECTED: Clients who make use of START, READ NEXT/PREV, WRITE/REWRITE/DELETE while processing records in that specific order may encounter this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: There was a COBOL runtime optimization that was causing a performance degradation with the above sequence of statements

The optimization has been corrected to handle the above sequence properly to avoid a runtime degradation
