APAR status

Error description

  • When running Remote Syntax Check from z/OS Projects view in IBM
Developer for z Systems V14.0.0.5, the user always gets an error
dialog saying "CRRZI0426E The property group associated with
this resource does not have the "Support Error Feedback" option
selected.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • When checking whether remote error feedback should be supported,
 the code was structured incorrectly and the part that should
have returned "true" was getting skipped.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code is now structured correctly.

In addition, we now check not only for whether a property group
is associated with a file but whether the property group has the
appropriate language category.
