  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * DB2 users received ABEND0C4 at                               *
  * location DSNKFTOM+0629E when DB2 was                         *
  * trying to free FTB storage for the                           *
  * index partition that was already                             *
  * closed.                                                      *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available.                         *
  ****************************************************************
  DB2 users received ABEND0C4 at location DSNKFTOM+0629E when
  DB2 was trying to free FTB storage for the index partition
  that was already closed.
  At the time of the abend the pointer to the FTB structure was
  set to NULL by another process.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code was modified to correct the problem.
