Error description

  • When users try installing IDz v14 into the same package group as
RAD v9.5 the following error is received:

Installing IBM Developer for z Systems 14.0.0.5 is not allowed
in this package group; it is not compatible with IBM Rational
Application Developer for WebSphere Software 9.5.0.2 iFix2. It
might be installed in a different package group.

CRIMA1061E: Installing IBM® Developer for z Systems® 14.0.0.5
is not allowed in this package group; it is not compatible with
IBM® Rational® Application Developer for WebSphere® Software
9.5.0.2 iFix 2. It might be installed in a different package
group.


Steps to recreate:
1.  Installed RAD v9.5 iFix2.
2.  Try installing iDz v14 into the same package group and
notice the above error message is presented.
