Error description
Add IN DATABASE clause to CREATE TABLE for an AOT through SAVE DATA, RUN QUERY with the TABLE keyword or IMPORT TABLE.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All QMF for TSO/CICS V11.2 and V12.1 users * * creating accelerator-only tables. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When creating accelerator-only tables * * (AOTs) through the SAVE DATA, IMPORT * * TABLE or RUN QUERY commands, users are * * unable to specify a database. QMF is * * creating all accelerator-only tables in * * the default DB2 database. When creating * * AOTs, QMF does not reference the SPACE * * profile parameter and is not using the * * IN DATABASE clause to create AOTs. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** This APAR adds a new global variable called DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB. When set,DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB will specify a database name in which QMF will create AOTs when processing the SAVE DATA, IMPORT TABLE or RUN QUERY commands.DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB may be set to a database name up to 8 bytes in length. When a non blank value is detected, QMF will create AOTs using the IN DATABASE clause and specify the name of the database specified in the DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB global variable. When DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB is blank, QMF will not append the IN DATABASE clause when creating AOTs and the AOT will be defined in the default DB2 database. The default is blank. Example: SET GLOBAL (DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB=DBFORACC) Note that when creating accelerator-only tables, QMF does not reference the Q.PROFILES.SPACE parameter. Applying this fix will not change the behavior of existing procedures creating AOTs. Leaving global variable DSQEC_SAV_ACCELDB blank will retain the behavior prior to this fix.
