Error description
On zOS it is possible to specify a connection token to help serialize multiple connections to the same queue manager/queue so that only 1 application at a time with the same connection can connect. The MQInput node should gracefully handle the error when a connection is refused because a MQRC_CONN_TAG_IN_USE return code is received and sleep an appropriate amount of time before re-trying the connect. Currently the MQInput node is treating this as an error and logging an error message: +BIP2678E (Msg 2/2) MQxxBRK DEFAULT 74 FAILED TO MAKE A SERVER CONNECTION TO QUEUE MANAGER 'MQxx': MQCC=2; MQRC=2271.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Integration Bus V10 on z/OS who use the z/OS serialization token option of an MQInput Node. Platforms affected: z/OS **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: On z/OS it is possible to specify a connection token to help serialize multiple connections to the same queue manager/queue so that only 1 application at a time with the same connection can connect. Problem conclusion
MQRC_CONN_TAG_IN_USE errors are now handled appropriately. A BIP2656 information message is issued and the MQInput node waits before re-trying the connect. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v10.0 10.0.0.12 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006041 If the maintenance level is not yet available, information on its planned availability can be found on: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006308 ---------------------------------------------------------------
