Error description

  • Version 8.1.5 of the IBM Rational License Key Server (RLKS)
Administration and Reporting Tool (ART) currently can not be
configured to integrate via LDAP with an Oracle Directory
Server.

The failure occurs during the "test connection" phase of setting
up the LDAP integration.

One possible error: "The supplied base DN for Groups search
couldn't be found in the LDAP server"

* cannot be saved and hence LDAP users cannot login to ART.    *

* Upgrade to ART version 8.1.5.2.                              *

Problem conclusion


    

  • Upgrade to ART version 8.1.5.2. The Oracle Directory Server can
be configured to work with ART and the LDAP users will be able
to login into ART.
