Error description
Developer for System z - IDz - v14.0.0.1 Description : When you Edit an Endeavor element in the IDz CARMA view, a Transfer Element is issued to get the element to the entry stage of the target environment. The default is to also issue a Generate. This Generate creates an allocation for the SYSTSPRT and SYSTSIN. These allocations may fail. For instance, you may see the following: SYSTSPRT could not be allocated file in use. SYSTSIN could not be allocated file in use. On the IDz Edit dialog there is a checkbox for "Bypass Generate Process". The default value of the "Bypass Generate Processor" is unchecked, which means the Generate will be issued. The default should be set to Bypass Generate Process since it is not needed for an Edit.
Local fix
Check the "Bypass Generate process" checkbox on the Edit Element dialog.
Problem summary
"Bypass generate processor" not checked by default.
Problem conclusion
This change will check the "Bypass generate processor" by default (unless explicity unchecked from previous edit in the session).
