Error description

  • In order to prevent NPE from com.ibm.etools.aries.core plug-in
in .log file a newer version of WDT in the next release of IDz
14.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Everytime a customer would right-click on an item in the Pending
Changes view, they would get a NullPointerException in the error
 log linked to an "Aries" component.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code needed to include null checking to ensure NPE Exception was
 not triggered.
