Error description

• Reading large files (> 4KB) in IBM Rational ClearCase dynamic
  views is significantly slower on a SuSE 12 SP2 host than it is
  on a SuSE 11 SP3 host. Depending on the size of the files
  involved, a 3-10x performance difference has been observed.
  
  The most common place to observe the impact is dramatically
  increased build times when comparing SuSE 11 build hosts with
  SuSE 12 build hosts. Creating final executable object files
  requires reading executables, libraries, and intermediate object
  files that are usually located in the dynamic view.

Problem conclusion
