Error description

• Rational Developer for System z 9.5.0 left side auto-comment
  function gives unexpected results
  
  
  When the changed line (e.d. 30) includes a character on column
  72 and return is pressed the autocomment is inserted into the
  next line (31)
  
  
  When a block of text (10 lines) is copy/pasted at line 30 then
  the autocomment is inserted after the block of text (line 40)
  and lines 30-39 are not
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When a block of text (10 lines) is copy/pasted at line 30 then
  the autocomment string is inserted after the block of text (line
  40)
  and lines 30-39 are not marked with the autocomment string.
  

Problem conclusion

• A code change was made so that all of the lines that are pasted
  have the comment.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.8 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
