APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When changing the port number of XD_AGENT port, the changes
  are
  not applied to the plugin-cfg.xml though they are applied in
  the configuration via the serverindex.xml.  This is
  regarding
  the Intelligent Management stanza where the connector
  servers
  are listed.
  

Local fix

• Update the plugin on the webserver with the correct port number.
  

Problem summary

  When XDAGENT_PORT values are changed and Intelligent Management
  for web servers is enabled the plugin-cfg.xml is not updated to
  reflect the change.
  

Problem conclusion

• The admin.intellmgmt component has been update to correct the
  issue and the updated observer behavior is as follows:
  
  1) Change an XDAGENT_PORT value, save, and synchronize the
  change.
  
  2) Bounce or start the process associated with XDAGENT_PORT
  change. At this point with the process actively using the newly
  defined XDAGENT_PORT all Intelligent Management enabled web
  server intellmgmt.xml files will be updated with correct
  connector values.
  
  3) The plugin-cfg.xml file will then need to be regenerated for
  all Intelligent Management enabled web servers and propagated.
  
  NOTE: PI82240 has a prerequisite APAR of PI72201 and PI72201 has
  it's own prerequisite APAR of PI72200. All nodes in the
  environment need these APARs.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
  packs 8.5.5.13 and 9.0.0.6.  Please refer to the Recommended

Temporary fix

• After changing XDAGENT_PORT values disable the Intelligent
  Management for web servers feature, re-enable the feature, and
  regenerate the plugin-cfg.xml.
