The InputStream used to read the values from the network data
did not maintain its map of object offsets across invocations of
read_value(). The second invocation tries to read an indirection
but the address it refers to is no longer remembered.

Problem conclusion

The map is now stored in the InputStream object itself and the
offsets are maintained across invocations.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 17.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
