APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14.0.0.3, a menu manager
XML file created on USS does not persist.

Steps to reproduce:

1- Go to Preferences > Menu Manager
2- create a new Menu manager file located on USS
3- create a new action
4- verify that the menu is available
5- go back to Preferences > Menu Manager and observe that file
created at
(2) is not available anymore

Local fix

  • there is no known workaround at this time.

5- go back to Preferences > Menu Manager and observe that file

Problem conclusion

  • The system now locates the correct file path.  The prior path
was not functional.
