Error description

• ABEND0C4 RC0000003B at DSNXRTSC OFFSET00160 can occur for a
  query using CP
  parallelism. This could also cause a lot of xFFFFFBAD storage
  overlay followed by various Db2 abends and then Db2 crash with
  abend S04F.

  Internal control blocks for large and complex SQL statements
  are processed differently from those of shorter and simple
  SQL statements.  DB2 under-calculated the storage requirement
  of said control blocks for large and complex SQL statements
  undergoing CP parallelism.

  Disable parallelism for the query
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code has been corrected to account for internal block
  variations between large and complex SQL statements undergoing
  CP parallelism.
