• LDAPTrustedClientCert directive caused IHS to log AH01695
  message showing the following:
  [LDAP: Attempt to set certificate(s) failed. Not built with SSL
  support][Unknown error]

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: LDAP requests fail with an HTTP 500     *
  *                      error.                                  *

  When the LDAPTrustedClientCert directive is set, LDAP requests
  fail with an HTTP 500 error. The following INFO message is
  also written to the error log:
  LDAP: Attempt to set certificate(s) failed. Not built with SSL
  support
  The requests fail because the APR LDAP library incorrectly
  reports that SSL is disabled.
  

Problem conclusion

• The APR LDAP library and mod_ldap module were updated to
  correctly handle the LDAPTrustedClientCert directive.
  
  This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs:
  - 9.0.0.4
  
  (n/a to prior releases)
