Error description

• APARs PI64213 (version 11) and PI69577 (version 10) tightened
  syntax checking on the DISPLAY DATABASE command.  As a result
  REORG use of DISPLAY CLAIMERS when using a range of parts fails
  with
  
  DSNT325I  INVALID PARTITION SPECIFICATION - CHECK SYNTAX
  DSN9023I  DSNTDDIS 'DISPLAY DATABASE' ABNORMAL COMPLETION

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After applying PI69577/UI42382 for DB2  *
  *                      10 or PI64213/UI40613 for DB2 11,       *
  *                      MSGDSNT325I and MSGDSN9023I were issued *
  *                      during the -DISPLAY CLAIMERS command    *
  *                      from a REORG SHRLEVEL CHANGE on a       *
  *                      range of partitions of a partitioned    *
  *                      table space after a drain failure.      *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *
  ****************************************************************
  After PI69577/UI42382 for DB2 10 or PI64213/UI40613 for DB2 11
  was applied, the DISPLAY DB SP CLAIMERS command issued during a
  REORG SHRLEVEL CHANGE on a range of partitions failed.  REORG
  was unable to obtain a drain on the object during the SWITCH
  phase and issued MSGDSNU590I - RESOURCE NOT AVAILABLE, REASON=
  X'00C200EC'.  This was followed by DSNT325I - INVALID PARTITION
  SPECIFICATION - CHECK SYNTAX and DSN9023I - DSNTDDIS 'DISPLAY
  DATABASE' ABNORMAL COMPLETION.
  PI69577 and PI64213 changed the specification of the PART range
  delivered to the -DISPLAY DB command.  The REORG utility was
  not changed to support this change.
  The same problem can happen for REORG SHRLEVEL REFERENCE.

Problem conclusion

• The REORG utility has been modified to pass the part range
  correctly when issuing a -DISPLAY DATABASE SPACE CLAIMERS
  command after a drain failure.
