PI74580: INVOCATION PARM TEST(S,EJPD) RESULTS IN TEST(NOEJPD,SOURCE)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When compiling COBOL program with invocation parameter
  TEST(S,EJPD), the corresponding compiler option in effect is
  TEST(NOEJPD,SOURCE).  Using the abbreviation for SOURCE, if
  specified prior to EJPD in sub options, causes NOEJPD to be in
  effect.
  

Local fix

• Specify TEST(SOURCE,EJDP) or TEST(EJPD,S)

  When compiling with TEST(S,EJPD) the compiler erroneously
  skipped the EJPD sub-option. So the option in effect ended up
  TEST(NOEJPD,SOURCE).
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was modified so to not skip the EJPD sub-option
  when SOURCE is abbreviated with S in TEST(S,EJPD)
