APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDZ client 9.0.1
  Web Browser Editor locks  html member which has been opened
  by double click.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  1 - Open an html member using Web Browser Editor then close it.
  2 - Reopen it by double click and close it
  3 - Receive 'Member in use' when trying to open it using ISPF on
  TSO.
  

Local fix

• Close the RDz client to unlock the file.
  

Problem summary

• The RDz client got lock for html resources on a host, and tried
  to release lock when the WebBrowser was closed but it failed
  since the editor didn't have information for RDz client to
  release it.
  

Problem conclusion

• The RDz client was fixed to release lock when the opened editor
  was WebBrowser since it should be always browse mode so the lock
   was not needed.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.6 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
