Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the IBM  Automatic Binary           *
*                 Optimizer (ABO) for z/OS, v1.2.              *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An ABO abend may occur in some very     *
*                      specific instances, where the input     *
*                      module was compiled from COBOL source   *
*                      that contained binary data with         *
*                      PICTURE descriptions of more than nine  *
*                      digits.  In addition to the abend, ABO  *
*                      also produces the following message:    *
*                      Assertion failed at Value.hpp:147       *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF                       *
*                                                              *
****************************************************************
ABO was changed to correctly optimize modules that were
compiled from COBOL source that contained these specific types
of PICTURE descriptions.
