Error description

• Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDZ client 9.5.0 does not
  correctly extract COBOL statements using the functionality
  Refactor > Extract Paragraph into a new section.
  
  Steps to reproduce
  - Select valid contiguous COBOL statements
  - Then right click -> refactor -> Extract paragraph
  - In the Extract Paragraph wizard:
    Enter T001 in new paragraph name field
    Select extract in a new section
    Enter T001-SECTION in new section name field
    Select at the end in the Extract after section
    Then click OK
  - In the Editor:
    The 'N' is missing in the perform statement
    PERFORM T001-SECTIO instead of PERFORM T001-SECTION
    The fall-through paragraph is wrongly generated
    FT-T001.
    GOBACK.
  

Local fix

• Removed the fall-through paragraph wrongly generated, closed
  and reopened the member to have the complete PERFORM
  T001-SECTION
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED: Rational Developer for z Systems users
  attempting to refactor COBOL source into a new Section.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:  When code is refactored to the end of the
  program a fall through protection paragraph needs to be
  generated.  When the refactor is intended to create a new
  Section, the fall through protection logic is incorrectly
  generated as the first paragraph inside the new Section.
  ****************************************************************
  

Problem conclusion

  Problem Resolution: The code generation location for the fall
  through protection paragraph was changed so that it will now be
  generated prior to the start of the new Section.
  ****************************************************************
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.3 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
