  While generating code for a MOVE with a numeric-edited
  receiver, the compiler was overly conservative while verifying
  that certain instructions it generated to access memory used a
  valid encoding. The encoding had already been verified
  elsewhere. To avoid generating incorrect code, the compiler
  aborted the compilation.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was modified to not abort in this situation.
