PI71610: RULES(NOLAXPERF) DOESN'T REPORT ADD, DIVIDE, AND SUBTRACT WITH USAGE DISPLAY DATA ITEMS

Error description

• RULES(NOLAXPERF) doesn't report ADD, DIVIDE, and SUBTRACT with
  USAGE DISPLAY data items, but should.

  *                 MULTIPLY and SUBTRACT statements with data   *
  *                 itemns that are defined as numeric USAGE     *
  *                 DISPLAY and are also both senders and        *
  *                 receivers.                                   *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Incorrect compiler output, missing      *
  *                      diagnostic message.  There is no        *
  *                      message for using numeric DISPLAY data  *
  *                      items in arithmetic statements for      *
  *                      some cases of ADD, DIVIDE, MULTIPLY     *
  *                      and SUBTRACT.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  The compiler was not accounting for the cases where data items
  are both senders and receivers in some statements, and was not
  flagging the numeric DISPLAY data items because they were
  receivers.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was corrected to to put out a NOLAXPERF message
  for numeric DISPLAY data items in ADD, DIVIDE, MULTIPLY and
  SUBTRACT when they are both senders and receivers like B in ADD
  A to B, SUBTRACT A from B, MULTIPLY A BY B, and DIVIDE A INTO B.
