Error description
After a database has been copied or packed/unpacked to an environment using the same filesystem, project work area paths are initially identical in both databases. Using the command 'ccm work_area -nwa project_spec' turns off work area maintenance as expected, and removes links to the work area path from any link-based parent project work area on UNIX. However, the command does not verify that parent project's work area belongs to the same database, causing work area corruption in the other database. The links can be restored in the orginal database by syncing the parent project(s).
Local fix
Use the command "ccm attr -m maintain_wa -v FALSE project_spec" to disable work area maintenance without updating links to the work area.
