* to stop DB2 processing of all postponed abort units of       *
* revovery.                                                    *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* ABND=04E-00C90101 in DSNIPSUL with ERQUAL1002 during RECOVER *
* POSTPONED CANCEL  processing.                                *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
During RECOVER POSTPONED CANCEL process, a page unlock reuest
failed due to a wrong
owning work unit ID was specified. This caused ABND=04E-00C90101
at DSNIPSUL:1002.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixes made in DB2 to check for the correct owning work unit ID
before making the unlock request.
