PI67578: WMQ ABEND0C4 CSQWVZSS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Change Team finds that the ABEND0C4 in CSQWVZSS occurs as its
  recovery routine is not setting up addressability to the WWAB
  when processing an abend.
  

Local fix

• The problem can be circumvented by stopping the collection of
  queue manager statistics records:
   STOP TRACE(STAT) DEST(SMF)
  
  If the queue manager might be restarted before the fix for this
  APAR is applied, include that command in a CSQINP2 member or
  set SMFSTAT=NO in CSQ6SYSP.

  If a system abend occurs in module CSQWVZSS while capturing SMF
  statistics data, the recovery routine may not correctly
  establish its base registers before performing recovery
  processing. This may result in an S0C4 abend occurring and
  masking the true cause of the underlying abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• Processing has been amended to ensure that recovery processing
  establishes its base registers correctly and the underlying
  abend is correctly reported.
