PI66414: "NOT ENOUGH STORAGE IS AVAILABLE ... E_OUTOFMEMORY" WHEN CLICK EXCEL 'CALCULATE SHEET' BUTTON WHEN CONTROLLER LINK ENABLED.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User launches Excel. User opens a large XLSX spreadsheet file
  - This file contains a lot (several thousand) of TM1 'data
  points'.
  User clicks on one particular sheet
  User then selects the Excel menu group 'Formulas', and then
  clicks the Excel button "Calculate Sheet".
  - Almost immediately, an error appears:
  
  Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
  (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000E (E_OUTOFMEMORY))
  

Local fix

• #1 Disable Controller Add-in
  #2 Minimize the used range. I removed the line 1048575 in the
  "1. P&L" sheet and the calculate went through without problems.
