Error description
In RDz v9.5 when users try importing source members and the name contain a dollar sign ($) they receive IWAA0645E: The import of the COBOL source has failed. Possible reasons for failure: 1. Syntax errors were found in the source. If the file is from the workspace, check the 'Details' section for the list of errors. 2. $DOL1.cbl is expected to be a complete COBOL program. Recreation steps: 1. Click on File > New > Other > J2C > CICS/IMS Data Bindling 2. Browse to location to select the source member: $DOL1.cbl 3. Click next and you get the error. Compiler errors: 1. IGYDS0025-E Name "'$DOL1'" was invalid. It was processed as "0DOL1". Workaround: None APAR PI65203 was generated to address this problem in Rational Application Developer.
