Error description

• Abend 5C6-00940024 dump was issued by WebSphere Application
  Server Control Region (CR) region when the stop command was
  issued for the WebSphere Application Server.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 5C6-00940024 may occur when a     *
  *                      WebSphere Application Server has a      *
  *                      bindings mode connection to both a      *
  *                      Queue Manager name and a Queue Sharing  *
  *                      Group name.                             *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  WSAS with bindings mode connections. A first connection is made
  with a QMGR name, the connection will succeed and complete
  normally. If subsequent connections are made using a QSG name,
  the connection to the QMGR will complete successfully. However
  when the address space attempts to disconnect from MQ, abend
  5C6-00940025 may occur due to the control blocks for the
  connection's RRS context not being owned by the QMGR the
  application connected to when the QSG name was specified.
  

Problem conclusion

• Processing for connections to a QSG has been updated for this
  scenario, to correctly set the preferred QMGR token during the
  first connect to the QSG, when a previous QMGR connection has
  already occurred.
