Error description

  • In Rational Developer for System z (RDz) 9.5.1, JCL editor
issues a warning for a data set member name containing pound
sign character in an INCLUDE statement when host code page is
IBM-1147.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • When using the JCL editor for a member that uses the French
codepage 1147, an INCLUDE statement with a member whose name
begins with  £ is marked as being invalid.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Adjust the JCL include member name parser to recognize and allow
 the  £ character for French codepage 1147.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.2 Fix Pack which
