*                      option on a partitioned table space     *
*                      abended with ABENDS0C4 RC38 at DSNUBAII *
*                      OFFSET4EEC.                             *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *
****************************************************************
A COPY with SHRLEVEL CHANGE and CHANGELIMIT options ran on a
partitioned table space.  ITEMERROR SKIP was applied.  The COPY
utility abended with ABEND0C4 RC38 at DSNUBAII + x'4EEC'.
This problem occurred because an internal control block was
freed after a commit operation during the COPY, but it was still
used to check the change limit criteria.

Problem conclusion


    

  • COPY code has been modified to use Real-Time Statistics (RTS),
when it's available, to check the change limit criteria, if
SHRLEVEL CHANGE and ITEMERROR SKIP are specified for partitioned
table space or UTS.
