APAR status

Error description

• When renaming/editing the connection on IBM Rational ClearQuest
  (CQ) Maintenance tool (which may occur through routine
  administration or when creating a test environment from a copy
  of a production database) user preferences in CQ Web interface
  which may include favorites are encoded with static connection
  names (based on previous connection names that may be invalid in
  this environment).  When creating records, or other actions,
  these preferences/links get reloaded sometimes causing
  redirection to the database with the original connection name
  (if registered on the same Change Management (CM) Server host).
  
  The issue does not occur with the new accounts created after the
  connection has been updated.
